ReplyDeleteThe Golden Girls have no obligation to search for possible converts. But some of them, usually referred to as Collectors, enjoy what they call "the game", involving various amounts of grooming and hunting/searching. No man is converted against his own wish, as respect is one of the House's greatest virtues, but wishes might me manipulated. Everything is allowed as long as it does not go against the Golden House Rules.

ReplyDeleteOnly through observation, and sometimes careful manipulation, prospects are deemed worthy of an invitation. Every initiate is evaluated and scrutinized without their knowing. Sometimes over the course of years.
What was her old life, or was she if, the word she applies to her. Or the other before. Does it matter, who she was, but what she is now.
